The objective of this program is to provide campuses with volunteers who have undergone a criminal background check, thus providing peace of mind to parents and BISD. The Board of Trustees necessitated the development of the Volunteer Partnership program when it required criminal background checks on all volunteers in the district. Once approved, a volunteer must reapply each year.
