The resources on this page are designed to facilitate the infusion of technology into classroom instruction and to support student success. The Tech Apps Literacy Guides for grades
 kindergarten through 5 outline the expected use of technology in our elementary grade levels. These guides are a resource for our teachers, students, and parents. Birdville teachers can use the Elementary Lesson Plan Database link to view and download hundreds of technology-rich lesson plans, digital video content, and other technology resources which support the BISD Curriculum and Instruction Documents. The Student Links section will provide students, teachers, and parents with useful, content-enriching web sites for classroom/computer lab use. The Teacher Resources will feature lesson planning sites, rubric/checklists online creators, online test-makers, and more.

The Birdville Instructional Technology Team provides collaborative support services to elementary educators who are improving student achievement through the infusion of technology into the district's standards-based curriculum. Our focus is on using technology tools to enhance and support teaching and learning while helping students develop digital literacy to meet state content standards and learn 21 st century skills.
