First things first, if you have health insurance through Birdville ISD, you will need to contact Babs Holly at 817.547.5782 in the Insurance Office within the FIRST 31 days from the date of birth to add dependent(s) to health insurance. 

Please note that health insurance is different from disability insurance. They are two separate policies. For example, health insurance covers medical needs. On the other hand, disability insurance provides the insured with supplemental pay to help defray the impact of any lost salary. You need to update your health insurance and disability needs early. By doing so, you will eliminate any possible delays in coverage.
